Paradigm Sew Along – Make a Bold & Modern Quilt

Are you ready to start the new year with an easy and bold project? Join the Paradigm Sew Along with me!

From January 24th – February 27th, 2022 I’ll be hosting a Sew Along to make my most popular quilt pattern – the Paradigm Quilt Pattern! Each week we will make small bits of progress towards making a completed quilt top! Of course, there will be PRIZES each week, and I’ll be showing up weekly in emails & videos to discuss the progress and help you along the way. Keep reading to find out all the details.

Paradigm Quilt Pattern

The Paradigm Quilt Pattern is an easy, fun, bold, and FAST pattern that is perfect for learning some classic quilt blocks! By the end of this sew along, you’ll be able to make Flying Geese and the Economy Block, and have put them both into your own Paradigm quilt! If you want to join this Sew Along, be sure to grab the Paradigm quilt pattern in my shop! (pro tip: you’ll get a coupon code emailed to you when you sign up for the Sew Along!)

I offer both PDF download patterns and printed paper patterns. You can also get a quilt kit too! Check out more details further below!

Paradigm Sew Along Schedule

Over the next 5 weeks we will make progress towards a pieced Paradigm Quilt top. Here’s the breakdown of the schedule. Please note you’re welcome to work ahead or take it at your own pace! The weekly videos will be available on my YouTube channel for you to watch later on too. The quilt comes together super super fast, so you only need to dedicate a short time each week to make your progress. It’s perfect if you’re busy but want some motivation to sew at least a little bit each week.

AccuQuilt dies for cutting Economy Quilt Block fabric pieces

Want to use AccuQuilt?

I’ve gotten a handful of people who have reached out to me to ask if you can use an AccuQuilt machine to cut fabric for this pattern. Are you curious if you can use a die cut machine to make the Paradigm quilt too?

The answer is both yes & no. You CAN use your AccuQuilt to make the Pillow/mini size of Paradigm quilt, and you probably even already have the dies that you need. Unfortunately, the baby and throw sizes of Paradigm are too large of pieces to use AccuQuilt.

If you really want to use AccuQuilt and also really want a larger quilt, I recommend checking out the Sprightly Quilt Pattern. The blocks featured in the Sprightly pattern are identical to the Paradigm, but instead feature multiple smaller blocks instead of one super large block to make a larger quilt. And to make things even easier, the Sprightly pattern includes AccuQuilt fabric cutting instructions directly in the pattern for you!

Feel free to make a Sprightly quilt with me during this sew along, as you’ll see the process each week will be very similar!

Paradigm Quilt Kits

This pattern is PERFECT for showing off your favorite fabric that you’ve been hoarding, so if you’re like me and you have that gorgeous print just waiting for it’s time to shine, this is the quilt to use it on! But for anyone who doesn’t, I’ve got you covered with Paradigm Sew Along Quilt Kits!

I’ve added some fun bold & modern Paradigm kits in my shop. Whether you’re looking for something more masculine and outdoorsy or more feminine & sweet, these kits are perfect for you!

I will personally be making the aqua & pink version during the sew along, and I can’t wait to see it come together!
