I hope you love this coral and white baby beaming quilt! I made this one with my AccuQuilt fabric cutting machine!
The baby size version of the Beaming Quilt features a modern star design, and you can get the pattern here. The quilt pattern is fat quarter friendly and fantastic for using your stash. This baby size star quilt uses just 5 fat quarters.
Beaming Fabrics: Blenders from Riley Blake Designs
Picking out the fabrics for this quilt was so fun and easy. I’ve been an ambassador for Riley Blakes Designs for a little while now, and I absolutely love the fabrics they share with me for that partnership!
The fabrics I used on this quilt top are all quilting cottons from Riley Blake Designs. I used a mix of solids and blenders from my stash and am really happy with how it came together!
These are the fabrics I used for my stars:
- Texture Shell
- Texture Rouge
- Bee Cross Stitch Coral
- Confetti Cottons Solid Apricot Blush
- Confetti Cottons Solid Lipstick
Baby Size Beaming Quilt Quilting Details
I quilted this baby size quilt using straight lines on my HUSQVARNA VIKING sewing machine. If you want to perfect your straight line quilting, I highly recommend the book WALK by Jacquie Gering and checking out my 3 quilting hacks video tutorial.
The backing is the COZIEST & SOFTEST backing ever! It’s Cuddle® Dimple by Shannon Fabrics.
Make this Star Quilt Using AccuQuilt!
If you’ve been following me for some time, you might know how much I rely on my AccuQuilt to give me precise cuts while quilting. I know not very many people might have access to an AccuQuilt fabric cutting machine, so the pattern is written out with traditional cutting instructions, BUT for those of you with AccuQuilt, I’ve added a special treat! I calculated adjusted fabric requirements, show which dies you will need, and share different instructions for cutting and constructing your quilt blocks — all included in the quilt pattern!
