7 Quick and Easy Quilt Patterns

Sometimes we all just need a quick win, a fast baby shower gift, an easy pattern to showcase your new favorite fabric line. Amiright?

I’ve compiled a list of all beginner-friendly quilt patterns that you need to check out, all by some of my favorite modern quilt pattern designers! I made many of these patterns in baby size, but most have many options for making various sized quilts!

In NO PARTICULAR ORDER, here are some of my favorite, quick, easy quilt patterns:

Misty Mountains by @Patchworkandpoodles

This quilt pattern is quick, easy, and gives you lots of big areas to play around with unique quilting designs! I personally tried out a new skill by hand quilting wavy lines. I love the added texture and how it pops on these AGF PURE Solids. Read all about this quilt here.

Maypole by @Suzyquilts

This right here is the Maypole Pillow – the quickest and easiest of them all! The Maypole pattern is a really fun way to mix and match some of your favorite prints and solids all into one beautiful quilt!

Triangle Peaks by @emily_dennis_

While this one is a tiny bit more labor-intensive than some of the others, it still made the cut for being super easy and super quick! If you’ve never sewn triangles before, it’s time to jump on in and make this fun, fresh, quilt pattern!

Moda Love by Moda Bake Shop

I have made so many Moda Love quilts that I have honestly lost count! The pattern is a FREE PDF (just ask the google machine for “free moda love quilt pattern PDF” and I am sure something fun will pop up for you!) and the best part is it comes in 3 pre-cut ready sizes!

Sugar Pop by @Suzyquilts

The Sugar Pop quilt pattern is a really refreshing modern way to combine awesome fabrics that come together really fast! This pattern is beginner friendly and Beau-approved!

Wiggling in Modern One-Block Quilts

One thing I love about the book “Modern One-Block Quilts” is that there really is a bit of everything in it! Want a quick & easy baby quilt to show off a bunch of fun fabrics? here it is! Want an artistic 2-color quilt? The book has lots of goodies for that too! Check it out here, it won’t disappoint. Read my Modern One-Block Quilts book review.

Add it up by @quilt101

If you have 9 all-time-favorite fabrics that you really want to showcase all together, this is the perfect baby quilt pattern for you! I also just can’t get over how amazing some free motion quilting looks in all that negative space!

Ok now it’s your turn! What are your favorite Fast & Easy quilt patterns? Let me know in the comments!
